Funny Side Of My Bus Trip!
This incident took place long long back, when I was working for an Organisation, which asked me to travel, when I was supposed to be in the bed in the morning. I don't say my employer was cruel. Its just the fact that I was not married then and I didn't have kids... and I can sleep till 11 in the morning. :)
Now I am on the bus at 8 o'clock in the morning... (now you know what I mean! about the time of course!!)
Most of the time on the road is spent on the signals and the traffic jams. You are in no mood for a joke. You are busy looking out of the window and trying to avoid the person next to you or fiddling your phone. That day I sat in the front seat (just behind the driver). Here in Bangalore, there are buses that have the seats facing each other.
A mother and a small girl sat opposite to me and a teacher next to me, who travel with me to her school. After 100 feet, the girl started to vomit, (Don’t feel bad), the teacher sat next to me, screamed and jumped on me. She literally sat on me with her books and bags, and asked me to get up. I was laughing so hard that I couldn’t do anything. She was now angry with me, because I didn’t obey her (all teachers do). Then I gently told her to climb down so that I can stand, by then she had pulled my hair and my dress. Then she realized her folly and sat down. I was so weak with laughter.
You see I was really a mess that day when I reached my office, with the crumpled dress and the vomit, but I felt so nice that I laughed that off. I was not at all stressed out that day. I thanked God for creating this funny world for me to enjoy.
I try to see the funny side of everything, the blessing in disguise and a good side of a person... and I say 'I try'. I am not perfect. But my Jesus IS! When I rely on Him, He gives me the strength to do so. I praise my God for His patience on me.
